Join Alice and Nora for a two hour workshop where students will get back in touch with their aerial body and aerial brain. The workshop is held on two days (one hour each) and will begin with conditioning to target and engage the muscle groups that students will need in order to keep their body strong, mobile and safe in the air. We will then reunite with our aerial brain as we’ll be learning a short but fun aerial silk sequence. The workshop will be divided into two groups, as one sequence will be more advanced, while the other one will be adressing beginners- and intermediate level students. As a minimum requirement students have to be able to do a footlock in the air. Students who are not sure about their level can talk to the teachers at the beginning of the workshop. Alice and Nora will make sure to help you find the right group according to your current level.
This workshop meets twice, on Tuesday and Thursday, at the Fylkir Gymnastics Gym at Norðlingabraut 12.
Prerequisites: This workshop is open to all students who can do a footlock on the air.
